Don't worry our cost per capita should come down soon. I read an interesting article the other day about how fat people and smokers actually decrease the cost overall for healthcare by virtue of dying early.

July 1, every year is the day Canada celebrates becoming a country - exactly like the USA celebrates becoming a country on July 4.

Believe it or not, it's as big a deal to Canadians as July 4 is to Americans... why shouldn't it be?

I get the impressions Americans think Canadians also celebrate July 4 - it is not a holiday to us at all, just like July 1 is not to you.
