Beale Street (restaurant and bar) on South Ave. is a good spot. Often times Dinosaur BBQ has some good blues acts (Coupe de Villes, Joe Beard, etc.). One more you might want to check out is Rab's Woodshed on Lake Avenue not far from the Lake. Not sure what's going on at Rab's these days, but they used to have good local and regional blues bands there about once a week.

Thanks, I did go to Beale St. and it was just what I was looking for, enjoyed the spicy food and 3-pc blues band.
