HA...if anyone has a yard full of dead plants right now, it speaks way more to their gardening skills than to the weather/climate of this region. Like Zinnia, our garden/yard is thriving right now and way ahead of it's typical bloom for this point of year.

Yeah you probably went out to Home Depot last week and bought some pre-growin flowers and put them in the ground you don't know anything about what it's like to grow plants from seed only to have them killed by our cold horrible climate that snows in April.

Overtaxed: be careful! Your post made me smile

And here's to our upcoming lovely, snowless May weekend in NY....

We've gone from the snow of two weeks ago to tropical heat this week and an "invasion" of butterflies that turned my yard into a flutter of black and red for hours yesterday afternoon. And in the evening, we were audience to a heat lightning show as we sat patio side listening to peepers.....

This is evolving into a very interesting weather year for sure!!!

Happy Weekend

Hmm...in this dimension, it is sunny and 65 out right now and most of the 10 day forecast has mid to upper 60s (which is typical for this time of year). There is ONE day when the high is only 55, and there is some rain in the forecast for 3 days....so what, we need the rain...we didn't have enough snow this winter to keep water-levels at what they should usually be.

The weather systems all around the world have been going crazy this spring. Cold weather in Spain, temperatures of up to 40 Celcius in Bangkok, snow in Vancouver. It is seriously ****ed up at the moment.
