Yes, folks I am FINALLY out of South Carolina and back home in New York. Feels so great to be back.

The weather has been fantastic! Yes, I know it's been rainy and cloudy. I moved my furniture on Sunday in the pouring rain. But where I was in SC, it was in the upper 80's and pretty humid. So this is a lovely change. I can actually go outdoors and breath!

I'm now in Geneva which I have to say has come a long way since my first visit here 6 or so years ago. It's pretty cool living near a lake and not having to pay property taxes for the lake view.

I'm finding my way around and the things I need in life. Sooooooo happy to have all of these farm stands! And I can't say I miss Kroger when I have Wegman's! I am hoping to make it to the farmer's market in Geneva tomorrow.

Couple of things I am looking for/wondering about....

Are there any farmer's markets or farm stands open year round? Red Jacket told me they are open, but the produce will be dwindling soon.

I am also looking for some quilt shops. Any around here? Oh and a local quilting guild.

Yesterday, I went to Sauder's and Martin's. Love those Amish stores! Any others in the area? I've got my eye on some furniture. Loved all the bulk baking goods and spices at Sauder's. Who needs a BJ's membership with them around?

There are many Mennonite vendors at this farmer's market in Penn Yan:

I've been there and omg you could get lost there. It's definitely something you plan on spending the day at. I imagine in the summer it's just crazy!

Yes. It was fun. Wish I didn't live 650 miles away.
