Does anyone know if there are any restaurants in the Rochester area that are serving Thanksgiving dinner? I've done some searches and called a bunch of places, and can't seem to find any that are open. A sit-down is preferred, but would like to know about any buffets as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How far out are you willing to go? Steger Haus in Sodus Point has the buffet, great place to eat. Turkey Town on Rt. 11 just north of Rt. 31 has it year around.

Default Thanksgiving

The Weekend section of the Democrat & Chronicle today had lots of ads for restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner. I'm fairly new to the area so can't speak for how they are (and quite a few are not actually in the city), but some listed were:
Tournedos (@ the Inn on Broadway, 26 Broadway)
Crystal Barn (Pittsford)
Tillman's Historic Village Inn (Greece)
Bellhurst (Geneva)
Perlo's Italian Grill (East Rochester)
Hawthorne Restaurant (2 locations: East Ave. and Jefferson Road)
Giovanni's Trattoria (4768 Lake Ave)
Nick's Seabreeze Inn (4581 Culver Rd)

There will probably be even more ads next week.

So far I've found Northfield's, Tournedos, Mario's Via Abruzzi, and Richardson's Canal House. Northfield's is the least expensive at $24.95/person.

Tillman's Historic Village Inn is not far from Greece but is actually in Albion, Orleans County. It is a very nice place that is family owned and operated. I believe their turkey dinner is $11.00 something & their Thanksgiving buffet is in the $16.00 range. They likely have a website. Nice atmosphere & reasonably priced.

Smile Thanksgiving Dinner

The Canadian Honker across the street from St. Mary's Hospital is serving Thanksgiving dinner. The food and staff are wonderful so I'm sure the dinner will also be. My daughter and I will be traveling on Thanksgiving Day for a Mayo appointment on Friday so we'll be having our dinner there.

Uhhh, Albion is an easy 40-45 minutes away from Greece, I don't know about you but I don't consider a 40 minute drive "not far", especially for just going out to dinner. I've been to the Village Inn before and it is nice, but I can't say I'd spend 40 minutes on the road to get there for anything other than a very special occasion like an anniversary or something like that.
