So, this weekend, we'll be going up to Rochester/Buffalo and scouting around some of the neighborhoods you guys have told us about--thanks!

Now, I'll probably need to have INCOME once I get there, eh?

Currently, I'm the COO of a small Janitorial and facility Maintenance firm. I have over 15 years' experience managing, training and my transferable skills are definitely not limited in any way. I'm even FEMA-certified in some emergency management areas, thru their independent study program.

Does anyone know of a Building Maintenance (or other) company that would be currently interested in hiring a mid- to upper-level management candidate at present?--If so, I can forward my resume to them at once, and hopefully get an interview setup for the weekend, while we're up there.

Thanks!

Default Employment - Rochester, NY

Anyone know of good companies currently hiring in the Rochester, NY Area?

I have 15+ years' managerial experience, many transferable skills and will be relocating there as soon as work is found.

Thanks!

Try looking at Rochester's craigslist, but I know a lot of companies go through temp agencies- try Adecco (or is it Addecco?). Also, the University of Rochester is now the area's largest employer. I'm a grad student there and people seem happy working there and those that don't like one position easily move to a different department, or so it seems.
