I am not sure if you already have moved to Sodus Point but I grew up in Sodus and thought you might be interested in some more info. There are at least a few Jewish families in Sodus Point but not a lot.
A lot of the homes in Sodus Point are summer homes and are not occupied year round. There are many waterfront bars and restaurants in Sodus point, but many close in the winter. There are very few stores in Sodus and Sodus Point. You will have to drive to Webster or Geneva (about half an hour or more) to find any shopping. There are no movie theaters, no fast food or chain restaurants and mostly mom and pop shops.
That being said the lake and bay are very beautiful to live on.
