I moved away from Rochester 20 years ago and never thought I'd enjoy another Corn Hill Festival again, but I'll be there next month.

I left before they had shuttles.

Are the parking lots marked on the shuttle map parking garages or open parking lots?

South Clinton Ave. and Woodbury Blvd.
Broad St. and South Ave.
Broad St. and Fitzhugh St.
S. Plymouth Ave. and Main St.

It says on the map that parking fees vary. Does anyone know what each one charges? Is one better than another?

I know the shuttles themselves are free.

Thanks!

What's the Fairy House Tour? How is it different from Lilac Fest? Obviously, it's not in Highland Park and there aren't any lilacs. How do the artists compare to Lilac Fest? I went to Lilac Fest this year so that's all I have to compare it to.

It's bigger, better, nicer, has lots of art and music. Artists have to apply to be included; I'm not sure how it's handled with the Lilac Festival.

Why am I in North Carolina telling you this? Isn't anyone up there?

The Fairy House Tour is, from what I can see, a promotional gimmick thought up by the author of a book about fairy houses. Fairy houses are tiny little tabletop gardens. So no, the fairy house tour is no way "like" the Lilac Festival. Two different concepts.

No wonder everyone is moving South.

At least down here someone will help you when you have a question.

You must not know why people haven't been on here that much. I'm assuming that it has to possibly do with people having multiple accounts.

Sorry...I love to offer advice when possible but I am honestly not very familiar with the Corn Hill Arts festival!

Also there is a tiny bit of validity in Ck's point about the Rochester forum getting hijacked by a multiple-account troll likely keeping many people away. It's a shame really.

It is great to live close to the ocean and I hope to move down south one of these days. Enjoy your sunshine in North Carolina!

ANYWAYS.....poor Brentwood came on here trying to find out about the Corn Hill arts festival and the parking situation down there.

The only one of those places listed that is a parking garage is the one on Woodbury. It sits diagonal from St Mary's church downtown. The rest are open lots. I have no idea about the rates though I think open lots tend to charge more than garages.
