With back to school coming up Fall is going to be in full swing. It is about that time of year to start thinking about pumpkin patches, hayrides, and apple picking. I am wondering what the best Fall Family Friendly Fun activities you enjoy doing are...

I personally like Powers Market in Pittsford. I have a 10 and 9 year year old and they both enjoy the Teepees... feeding the animals and the hayrides. We usually finish the trip of with a donut and bring home a few mums.

Grow More Farms is another adventure we took when the kids were smaller-with a lot of fun activities for the little ones out back.

Long Acre Farms in Gananda has the Corn Maze and for the adults it has the J&D Wine Cellars as an added bonus.

We went apple picking a couple of years back but I think we made it out too late because it was all picked over.... or we headed to the wrong farm.... Any suggestions on the best place to pick them???

Powers Farm Market has been my favorite for probably going on 20 years now. Maybe it's the nostalgia, but I think this place is the absolute best place for Fall family fun in the Rochester area. No question.

Powers Farm Market

When I was little I used to go there every year around Halloween for hours in the tee-pees and pumpkin patch. It's an awesome place to bring your kids, or even just to explore as an adult to enjoy the Fall season. There's also a cool bee hive inside the market and they make their own honey sticks I believe, which are great.

It's a bit of a drive; and also pure nostalgia on my part because we used to go there growing up...but Brown's Berry Patch off 18 in Waterport is the quintessential Summer and Fall family destination IMO. Apple picking, tons and tons and tons of candy/treats in the country store, and I believe they have have a cornfield too. Growing up we had a cottage out in Orleans County so we would go mostly during the summer for berry picking but it's awesome in the Fall too.

I have always done the apple picking in Victor.... over at https://www.thevictorapplefarm.com/ but, like I said, I think I went too late in the season as they were picked over last time.
