Can someone tell me where I can find a decent fish market in Rochester, Greece or Spencerport? The fish markets found on the internet didn’t turned out to be any good...all of them are dirty, and lack different types of fish. I can’t seem to find *butter fish* in any of the fish markets in the city of Rochester. I’m from NYC (all my life) never had this problem finding fish. Is there a website where I can order fish? Help!

Where did you go in Greece? Not a huge fish market guy, but I know a lot of people swear by Davies on Stone Rd.

Also have you checked out the public market in the city? There are many vendors there so you might find what you're looking for if you haven't been there yet.

I know you listed places were you were looking, but I searched on Google and this place in Penfield says they have this butter fish you're looking for.

Europa Deli - Seafood

So if you're up for a drive, that might be your spot. Also found a D&C article that indicated this asian food mart in Henrietta might have it as well:

About Us
The Asian food market is AMAZING. Absolutely love this place for fresh and hard to find frozen seafood. Live fish, crab, lobster, shrimp, frogs (if that's your thing).
