Do any of you guys in Rochester make one-day trips to Toronto by any chance (roughly a 3-hr drive)? Is it doable, or is it too long?

Do you also take advantage of Nexus, the automated border-crossing program for US citizens, to save time when entering or leaving Canada?

Rarely, we usually stay the night/weekend, but a couple times I have gone up just for a sporting event and driven right back, it's not too bad. Don't have Nexus personally, just a passport.

This could be a travel option as well: Greater Rochester International Airport | Monroe County, NY

If people could think about this in a rational way it would definitely come back. Most people, that I've heard from don't put much thinking into this at all. This was not a carnival ride. Collaborate with Toronto's colleges and industries and it would be a go

I think it would have a shot, as it could be used in higher frequency when Toronto has certain events/festivals as well.

Hardly worth it for the day and.thr city is mega expansive to park, unless you park at the Burlington GO station and take the train the rest of the way I usually go for 1-2 nights and stay at an Airbnb. They're super cheap there for some reason. Not to mention how bad the traffic can get on the QEW / Gardiner Expressway.
