Hello, my family will be moving to the Rochester area next summer for my husband's job. We will be living in Victor due to proximity to his work. My daughter will be three at the start of the 2019-2020 school year and I'd like to get her in a really good pre-k program. Where we are now, there are long wait lists and it's difficult getting spots at the best schools. Can anyone recommend any great pre-k programs on the east side? Specifically, I have been looking at Allendale Columbia and The Harley School. They both look wonderful, but I'd like to hear firsthand experiences. We are most likely going to send our kids to public schools for K-12 but I want them to have the best foundation before that. Open to both half-day and full-day programs. Thank you!

I would highly recommend also looking at the Rochester Museum and Science Center's Pre-K program. I've heard fantastic things about this program and my wife and I plan on sending our daughter there in a few years too. This program will give her a nice introduction to science and nature and will help start an interest.

As for public schools, Victor schools are fantastic. So you'll definitely be all set once she starts kindergarten.
