Is there a need in Rochester for a Language School, specializing in teaching English to immigrant Spanish Speakers and teaching Spanish to locals who may need it?

I'm coming from a Latino-majority city, which means there are large numbers of professional Spanish speakers, immigrants from places like Argentina, Venezuela, etc. who need professional English, and businesses who need Spanish to survive.

I see Rochester has a 17% Latino population, but is there a professional element to this demographic, or are most of these Latino Rochesterians low-skill immigrants (migrants and those barely scraping by) or lifelong US residents/citizens like Puerto Ricans, who are bilingual already?

Is there a recently-arrived Spanish speaking professional class? Is there a need for English speaking Rochesterians to learn Spanish to conduct business?

I'm obviously dealing in generalities, but Id be curious to learn more about whether Rochester attracts and does business with international spanish speaking residents

I'd say that it is likely a mix and yes. Many have relocated to the area via Puerto Rico due to the most recent hurricane. I would contact these organizations and publications/media outlets: https://iaal.org/

La Cumbre

Rochester La Voz Home page grid - Rochester La Voz

Poder 97.1

Among others...

This goes beyond the city, as the East Irondequoit SD has a substantial Hispanic/Latino student population(22.7%), with some in the western suburbs and Henrietta. You'll also find communities in small town/rural areas in Orleans and Wayne counties(Albion, Median, Sodus, Newark, etc.), Mount Morris in Livingston County and Geneva in Ontario County in other parts of the metro area.
