Now THAT'S disheartening, and a true sign of the impact that Covid, as well as "King Cuomo's" edicts, are having on NY's economy.

He's got the product. I think he will have to adjust his marketing. Hopefully he can sell the building, and someone restores it. It's a beautiful old railroad station. I just hope it's not to far gone

Nothing new, he's been in dire financial straits, at least his business has, for years. He had to get a large (of its kind) state grant to fix the roof on the building.

OH...we moved away many years ago, but this was our go-to for plates. Sorry to hear it isn't a Nick's any longer.

I don't remember exactly, but it hasn't been Nick's for 10-15 years, maybe longer. I think it once was Alex's, and now it's Tony T's, or something, but the last time I was there, it was the same plate as you'd get from Nick's. In fact there are dozens of places offering delicious renditions.

Yup, we tried a variety of plates, but I was always partial to Nick's. We lived on the west-side and it was just down the road a piece :-) Left Roc in 2006, guess our departure hit them hard...hahaha!
