My buddy and I are in our early twenties and looking for an apartment in Rochester. I work in the henrietta area, so somewhere on this side of town would be nice. I really like the Cornhill Landing Apartments, but they can be a bit pricey. Any places comparable to Cornhill Landing? Also, we'd like to live around people our age. Basically, if you were 23 years old and single...where would you want to go?
Park ave neighborhood, South Wedge, Upper Monroe or East End.
Park ave is the largest neighborhood of them, lots of 20 somethings. Lots of restaurants, shops, etc. South Wedge has more of a hipster vibe. Has restaurants and shops, just not as big as park ave. Upper Monroe is smaller, little more grittier but cheaper. East End is downtown. There are lofts and condos. More "urban". Right next to all the East end bars and restaurants. A bit pricier than the other neighborhoods mentioned.
