originally I am Colombian but I'm from Miami when I came here I looked for all types of Spanish food the only thing I found was puertorican and dominican, nothing more. so yeah you cubans and me and the colombians are out of luck... gotta go back to miami pronto
I just moved here a couple months ago, and I see a lot of "latin" restraurants, as well as carribean, but nothing that's specifically cuban. I know there are a handful of cubans here in the city, so I imagine some of these latin joints would serve food to cater to this small segment of the population. I moved here from southern Cali, so my body is going through withdrawls of real mexican food, I dig the garbage plates and all, but I'm fiendin' for some carne asada and carnitas!!
