NYC has one too...It's in Harlem....I'm not familiar with the setting of the others spots, but you can not beat the one in Rochester ....Drive-in, Diners and, Dives should do a spot on it

The clientele is all over the map of interesting people

Merchant Street Smokehouse in Brockport is fantastic, they have the best ribs in Rochester.

I was surprised how good that Sticky Lips was. Just went there for the first time a couple weeks ago and I will be back.

I like Sticky Lips the best. One that is very good that hasn't been mentioned is Taste of Texas BBQ in Spencerport.

Haven't tried Merchants yet but "Taste of Texas BBQ" is very good in Spencerport. The ribs and brisket are great.

Okay, what's the best one without the crowds and all the groovy self-absorbed pretentious fashionista bullpoop? There isn't a meal in the world that's worth enduring all that.

I wouldn't go to Dinosaur if they let you keep the waitress.

Definitely try Taste of Texas then. They have great food, fun decor (example -- you place your order at the counter and then send it on a zip line to the kitchen where it clangs into a cowbell), free soups. It is a little out of the way in the village of Spencerport, but still within 30 minutes of city center.

I'd take Sticky Lips over Dino any day. Their ribs are much better and all of their food is good instead of just a few dishes. Parking is more accessible as well. It is often just as crowded though. Don't get me wrong, I still like Dino, but I don't think it is the beginning and end of BBQ in the area like many make it out to be.
