No Rochester doesn't have anywhere near the amount of Timmy Ho's that Buffalo has. And maybe that's a good thing. How many Tim Horton's do you really need in a 2 mile radius? If you're from Buffalo, the answer is 10. If you're from Rochester, 1. What Rochester really needs to import from Buffalo is a Mighty Taco.
I always liked the El Nino buritto. I can't imagine what that restaurant does to your insides tho.
I was born in Rochester and lived in the area when I was a kid, but as an adult have lived outside the area. I just drove through the city a few weeks ago. It's funny to drive through your native city after a long period of time having seen much of the rest of the world. I was impressed as I drove on 490 across that new bridge across the river (beautiful bridge by the way). The city has a compact, pleasing, very clean appearance, and I was surprised to see so little traffic (which is a good thing). Driving through the Penfield area, I was impressed with the neighborhoods, beautiful homes and everything looks so well maintained. It was also very cool to see those exact same unique street lamps that I remember when I was kid back in the 70s.
