The Shhh! Show was hosted by Sam Einhorn, who told us to not try at home the things that the Three Stooges were always doing. It was the successor to the Skipper Sam Show, also known as the Shhh! Shhh! Showboat. Ken Powell played Skipper Sam, an old sea captain in full regalia, with a big mustache and fringed epaulets. He used to pull on a cord to make the ship's whistle blow. Local acts would perform on Skipper Sam, and cartoons or other kids shows would play to fill the time. By the time the show became the Shhh! Shhh! Show, I think the acts were no longer a part of the show.

Dialing for Dollars was hosted by Anne Keefe.

And don't forget Bowling for Dollars, hosted by Ron DeFrance.

Default The Shhh Show with Ralph Irene

I remember the Shhh Show that was hosted by Ralph Irene. He was my 6th grade teacher at the time. He was the best teacher I had at Longridge Elementary School Greece NY. One of the best teachers of all 16 years of school. I danced on the Skipper Sam show during those years as well.
