Does anyone else think we are getting an unusually warm and sunny early spring this year? We had some nasty weather the first few days of March but since then this has probably been one of the sunniest and "least wintery" March's I remember! Looks like it is supposed to be sunny all this week with temperatures mostly in the 50's, with 71 on wednesday! I just hope we don't have some surprise blizzard or something in April though!

I said that in another post. Its been a wierd year. We had alot of snow Dec-Jan. Then Feb was sunny with above average temps (although still cold). And its still sunny with moderate temps. People still think its cold, but 30 deg and sunny is fine by me. We probably just jinxed ourselves though and its going to blizzard until June, lol.

Oh and if you remember April last year, it went from 40-80 in a week! Is NY getting warmer overall and having a shorter, but snowier winter?

Trend is becoming colder globally and we are cycling back to what the winters used to be in the area. Hot summers and cold snowy winters with lots of snow. Of course, we have only a little snapshot of time to base this upon, a hundred or so years is not much, relatively speaking.
