We moved here from out of state couple of months ago and have been
trying to find a good physician who takes new patients. Are there
a shortage of doctors in Rochester? We couldn't find a good doctors
who takes new patients. We live in Brighton area. Let me know if
you have any suggestion and advice. Also, let me know if you know
any good doctors accepts new patients.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Tom

Christine Stewart in Penfield is really good, my parents and Grandmother really like her. I chose her as my PCP once I was too old for a pediatrician and went to her for a couple years before moving away. She is really open and down to earth, although her assistant can be a little harsh. She will thoroughly check out any issues that you might have, but she won't try to jack up your bill to get a higher payout from your insurance. She pretty much makes sure everything is ok with you, before she procedes. Her office used to be on S. Clinton in Brighton, But now it is on Hagen Dr. in Penfield.

Andrew Holt is an incredible pediatrician, Both my brother and I went to him. He is very thorough and down to earth as well. He makes kids feel really comfortable and explains everything. I think his office is still in Irondeqouit, I'm not 100% sure of what street it is on.

I'm not sure if they are taking new patients but it may be worth the try. I hope this helps.

Andrew Holt is on Titus Ave. It is called Irondequoit Pediatrics I believe.

Dr Marsocci at elmwood pediatrics is THE best pediatrician I've ever had for my kids. It's going to be really tough to replace him when we move. look them up. They have bios on their Drs on the website. The staff is great too, and they do walkins 2 days per week in the morning, and you can schedule same day appointments! It's always friendly, sanitary, helpful and dare I say enjoyable :-0. When we go.

Dr. Mike Martin of Gladbrook Pediatrics is the best pediatrician in Rochester. He is board certified and is always available for his patients. They even have walk in hours in addition to appointments. He listens first, which is a real plus. He is thoughtful and always gives great medical care.
