Just wondering if there are any Ethiopian restaurants in the area?

We just had a catered party with Ethiopian food, and we really enjoyed it. It was my first time having this type of cuisine, and I would be disappointed not to experience it again.

Other favorites of ours include Indian, Thai, and just about any exotic foreign cuisine. Any recommendations would be great.

ironically enough....this summer when I was up there, I remember one of my old friends comparing Buffalo to Rochester...and making the point that Rochester had better cuisine choices...including an ethiopian restaraunt in the Park Avenue area. I have NO idea what it was called or what kind of food they have (i've always though Ethiopia was a starving country with little food?). But I guess there is Ethiopian cuisine in Rochester

Thanks! The Ethiopian food we just had is really healthy and very tasty - it has a lot of different grains, lentils and beans, as well as hearty beef and chicken stews. There is a special kind of bread you use to scoop it up and eat... it is reminiscent of Indian food but with a "softer" taste (if that makes sense).

I'm happy to hear there is an Ethiopian restaurant in Rochester!! I did see there is a Thai restaurant just down the street from where we will be living called Puket thai - anyone been there? is it good?
