grove place area (renting, homes, neighborhood)

i am interested in renting an apt at 54 university ave,,,,this is in the grove place area,,,is this a safe part of town,,thank you so much for your help

Its safe. Beautiful area with some of the older homes in the city. Very small neighborhood. Lots of Eastman school kids live there.

That part of the city is within the inner loop and is considered downtown. During the weekdays, most of the streets are busy and there are plenty of police officers around. You should be safe in that area, I would not go north of the inner loop.

Thats actually a good place to be, the bus stops on main st and you can walk right over to it. The train is not far away. Plenty of little shops and places to eat. Plus the college multiple college campuses.
