Does anyone know what this? I came from long island over a year ago and have realized that delis all over Rochester(city and suburbs) have no idea how to make one.If you feel differently, then point me in the right direction and describe to me SPECIFICALLY what is in one. Please don't suggest a deli if you have never had this there.

If you want a long island chicken hero, go to long island. This isn't long island. We make food differently here than downstate.

There is a lunch cart in Victor in the summer called Giovanni's Lunch Cart. I don't know exactly what a Long Island Chicken Cutlet is like, but his is lightly breaded and fried with a delicious hot sauce on it (Gio's Sauce). It is definitely worth trying.

So we go from the Op's question to the worst thing Rochester has to offer to eat the "garbage Plate" I get sick when my son attempts to bring it into the house he gets to eat it outside. lets try to figure out how to get a chicken cutlet hero here.

Chicken French in other places is called Chicken Francaise(especially on italian menus).Funny thing is that a french chicken is so prevalent at italian restaurants.

You sound like a Rochester lifer. You can pretty much get hot dogs everywhere.Well a chicken cutlet hero is a SIMPLE deli staple and any good deli that doesn't know what it is should be ashamed whether in NYC,long island,or here.

FYI: A chicken cutlet hero is A FRIED CHICKEN breast(thin),with lettuce (preferably shredded),with sliced tomatoes, and mayo. NO CHICKEN FINGERS OR CHUNKS,and NOT GRILLED! Very simple.American cheese also can be added and bbq sauce instead of mayo also a good option.
