A vet and a lawyer shared a building. They were married to each other though. But it was an interesting experience to see the lawyer with dogs barking in the background, or conversely, to have people bringing pets into a law firm.

Where I grew up (not a small town) I remember when I was younger there was a Demolition and Catering place.

I was around 3rd or 4th grade when I realized I'd been reading it wrong it for years and it was actually demolition and carting! LOL

I've lived in a couple of small towns that had a grocery store/gas station/cafe and post office in the same building. I worked at both of them. Oh yeah, and one had a small RV park behind the building as well.

In Boonsboro, MD right in the center of town is Crawford's Restaurant Guns & Ammo.

In Winchester, VA there is a 3 in 1 Thrift shop, Pool/Spa Service & Storage. I imagine everything in the thrift shop probably comes from items acquired due to unpaid storage dues.

That is pretty common here in the small towns. The grocery store, post office, cafe and gas station always go together here. In my town that is still the case. I don't know off-hand of one with an RV park but I know of one that had a trailer park behind all that.

It is farily common to see one building, with one owner/manager, out in front is gas pumps, and inside is a grocery store / restaurant / deli w/pizza / Guns, Ammo & bait / movie rental / post office all with a trailer park out behind it.

The closest one to us also does custom cut meats [local beef, pork, bear, or moose].
