Well Mrs oz got to see her Birthday presents in the daytime and in their new home,we dewormed them and fed them some treats, well actually they didn't really care for the carrots...LOL.

Weighed them all,Anna the oldest is 94 pounds,Middlun is 60 pounds, and Littlun is only 33 pounds or so.
She is the runt and we will try and fatten her up,she is actually 10 days older then Middlun but you wouldn't know it.

We are still obviously in the process of naming the two smaller goats...

Awwwwwwww, judging from their ears, looks as though they have some Nubian in them.

Boers have big ears, all are pure bred but unregistered.
The little one was too small for the breeders liking.

If you want good meat producing, you can cross Nubians and Boers to get more milk for the kids.

I have a Nubian, she has ears exactly like your Boers.

Ohh,yes very similar in that respect, big pendulous ears....Boers are just short and stocky compared to Nubians.

We were looking at Nubians, but no-one near us had any for sale.

Come next Spring, might see about getting some,I am almost to the point of trying goats milk....

Didn't like some old cornbread we had either.

Seller fed them some apple flavored horse treats,so might pick some up at Tractor Supply.

Also need to get some hay for bedding, although they seem to sleep outside unless it is raining.
