Monsanto vs. Costa Rica

I found an interesting article coming out of Costa Rica.

Why Monsanto Left Costa Rica

The people of C.R. are repelled by Monsantos methods of infiltrating government and political channels to sell their products. They find it spine-chilling.

Their own research shows how GMO crops damage the heart, spleen and adrenal glands. It also upsetting.

But the main reason they rejected Monsanto is yhey "do not wish to allow GMO cultivation in our lands because of their disruptive effects to ecosystems. There is a reason why insects, worms, bacteria and other bichillos flock to corn: they need to eat, too. Nature sent those bichillos to the corn fields, and she knows why. In this regard, organic farmers know that a surge in pests and corn disease is a sign that they aren’t doing something right."

I was looking at some old commercials aired in 1978 on Youtube the other day that featured Monsanto. They were advertising chemicals. To say that I was disturbed about the commercial would be an understatement. Just insidious!
