We have sufficient supplies (and a garden) to stay out here in our little patch of countryside a whole lot longer than the two weeks our governor just slapped on us. Having grown up on a farm, we've always been prepared for natural disasters and assorted other emergencies, so this isn't a huge deal for us.

We closed the gate. Mail and packages sit in the sunlight until we go down there. But we'll still use gloves and maybe spray stuff with alcohol if we think it warrants it.

Most importantly, we can be outside, in the sunlight, where UV rays make short work of viruses. So yes, we do feel a lot safer out here than in any size town.

Hold on there.

In Pelosi's District where we have been reading articles about all the homeless defecating on the sidewalks. I thought the city was trying to wash all of that human feces off the sidewalks.

2 or 3 days ago, a friend of mine sent me a photo of Portland Maine, where it seems that human feces on the sidewalks has now became a common sight.

It is not about cleaning a virus off the sidewalks, but the Dems have finally come up with a solution to all of their homeless residents.
