Living room, dining room and kitchen have curtains only. Bed rooms have blinds only.

Living room, open curtains. Sheers. Dining room — a GORGEOUS pair of windows with wide woodwork. Don’t cover the show piece.

My bedroom has linen curtains. Closed pretty much all the time. They are what are called light filtering. Not sheer, but not solid. Can’t see in to a dark room. Light’s on? Can. Pretty much, the lights goes on, I go to bed, I turn the light off. Even though I’m generally watching television and playing on my phone for a few hours before I go to sleep.

Back bedroom has blinds, but they will be going. I despise blinds. I think the only way I would have them yes if they were installed in between the windows so I would never have to clean them and they would never get dirty. That’s the reason I can’t stand blinds — they are so difficult to impossible to clean. In my case they’re almost cheap enough to remove, toss and buy new ones because that’s a very basic size and I only need two. Curtains are washable.

My bathroom has that specific bathroom glass that’s just kind of frosted and marbled so there’s no way to really see anything.

I actually live in an urban area, so I just stay dressed. It’s not difficult. But there’s still a lot of privacy here.

Yep! But regular venetian blinds are dust collectors for those who love dust collections!

I have basic blinds, but I also sublet. If I could get curtains, I would.

No blinds, no curtains. I live back in the woods, anybody looking in had better have a darn good reason...and had better not mind seeing nekkid people. (Jws don't seem to come around anymore...)

Faux wood blinds on all the windows except in the kitchen at the sink. Most of the time, they are open or pulled up. I need the light, as do my plants. Back of the house faces the woods and no one can see us from there. Not sure anyone can see us from the road from the front of the house either....but we do pull them closed in the bedroom at night 'just cause.'
I keep them open in winter, too.

I hate curtains. Dust collectors. Am saving up for honeycomb shades that will dual purpose pull up or down .....I like the looks of those.

Neither. Plantation shutters throughout the house, except kitchen and bath windows have Roman shades. Love the shutters.

Blinds. As per the condo rules.

My brother used to argue terribly with his wife .(now divorced).
He demanded NO covering on the windows. His mindset, why have windows if you cover them!!
She said, 'our children do not like the glaring morning sun when they are still trying to rest. '

As someone who had a peeping Tom in my neighborhood( and yes he was found on my property peering in) I cannot contribute to that person's perverse habit.
