I watched it online and I agree. I have seen similar situations here in TN, but also quite the opposite. I realize she was trying to bring attention to poverty but she could also have shown a more positive side of "the mountain people". Not everyone is a poor toothless drug addict.
Kind of reminded me of the media coverage when there is tornado damage. They seem to always report from a trashy trailer park and seek out the least educated person with the most missing teeth to interview.

I am from Harlan county Kentucky. You people only saw what goes on in the hollers and back roads of it.. Come see where I live.... You will stay a while.. I live in the mountains, my back yard is a lake, and my house is just as big.. There are bad things that goes on everywhere, Not just Harlan, Ky..
