I recently became a homeowner on the Mendocino coast. Haven't moved there yet; just going there on weekends -- need that city income to finance the rural life.

Would love to know some neighbors and learn about the region!

One of my favorite areas! Congrats on getting into such a coveted place! I used to live in Ukiah and Clear Lake. Would've loved to be in Mendocino. Lots of wineries and art for you there. And the wonderful coast line....I envy you.

Yes it's beautiful up there. The environment is magical.

And you will be amazed -- it is not entirely unaffordable here. Because it is so far from the main metro areas, if one just wants to have a foothold here, a small old house on a small lot can be had for 300K.
