Wow...I don't feel so bad...even our "big" dairy farm did not make the top recipient category. Actually nothing surprising there...the top farms have 1600-200 milking cows so they have a lot of acreage to use the money on.

since the subsidies come from the ---Farm Bill---maybe they should post the names ,adresses, and amounts the people recieve of the outgoing 67% of farm bill spending---------nutritional aid.

Fair is fair, they should publish the lists of people recieving food stamps also since many people chide farmers who get subsidies as being in welfare.

I didn't find the names of anyone recieving food stamps ( along with the amounts
$$$$$$$ )

The govt releases every farmers name recieving a subsidy, regardless how small, and says it is made available under the -----"freedom of information"

The govt never releases the names, addresses, and amounts of people recieving food stamps from the farm bill and justifies their policy by stating---" data privacy"

Sounds like a double standard being used !

I never thought of that Marmac, but it is true. The majority of the Farm Bill does go to food stamps. I think a very big portion of it even goes to other countries to feed them.

It's pretty sad. Maine has gotten accolades for having a lot of government stuff online, and one is all public salaries. Anyway my wife is a teacher so now everyone can see what I take as a farmer, and what my wife makes as a teacher...but you can't see what the lame and lazy take for welfare.

WTF (What the fannypack)
