Some of you may have seen this mapping from 2013, but in case you haven't, I thought it was worth sharing in this forum:
The Best Map Ever Made of America's Racial Segregation | WIRED

It shows racial makeup in a selection of major American cities and nationwide, based off the following:

"Drawing from the 2010 Census, it shows one dot per person. White people are shown with blue dots; African-Americans with green; Asians with red; and Latinos with orange, with all other race categories from the Census represented by brown. "

As we all know who live or grew up in the area, Sacramento's diversity/integration is empirically represented here:


KEY: White: blue dots; African American: green dots; Asian: red; Latino: orange; all others: brown

If you think this actually looks segregated, just compare it to some other major cities in the map to see how truly integrated the city is.
