Well i was just outside and saw two young kids walking down the street, one pull a pallet gun out of his pants could of been 12 inches long. Shooting at the birds.

THIS JUST MADE ME SICK TO MY STOMACH!

If it is in any kind of residential area it is illegal.

Yes, it is in a neighborhood.

After seeing some of the kids and what they do here, my guess is the parents don't care and would just brush you off if you say anything to them.

Were they launching full-sized wooden pallets? When I was a kid, we just shot birds with regular old pellet guns. It wasn't a particularly big deal.

Would it make you feel any better if they were using shotguns and had a gaming license?

If you're an animal activist and upset about the situation, do something about it. If you're upset that they're breaking the law, report them. If you're upset that their parents might or might not do something about it, well, I'm not sure what you can do there, but in either scenario, there are better ways to do something about it and be heard.

Well i'm not sure but the gun did not look like it was plastic but made out of hard metal. Could of been bb's.

Me. I didn't shoot birds (or other animals) when I was a kid! If I saw this, I'd go after the little b*stards myself!!!

BB guns and pellet guns were all made out of metal when I was a kid, and most of them are now, except I suppose for Airsoft pellet guns.

If you report the issue, PLEASE PLEASE tell the PSD that you KNOW its a pellet gun and not a real one.
