Rocklin is the nicer location. Here’s why:

1. Roseville is much bigger which means you will contend with more traffic on average.
2. These geographical areas are so close together, why not live in Rocklin which tends to have a more open landscape and head into Roseville when you need to.
3. Take a look at Douglas and compare it to the worst of Rocklin; I’m sure you will see why parts of Roseville haven’t aged well.

Used to be really nice before the drought some years ago, but then people let all the grass to die, and now all is back green and they don't care their front yards. Our area used to be really clean, not anymore! More new people moving in, burglaries happening more and more. Not the Rocklin used to be years ago.
