The California legislature has screwed the elderly and the disabled for the fourth time in two years. They added co-pays to our Medi-Cal prescriptions, beginning Jan. 1. This info was stated in your orange letter from Medicare. However, Medicare doesn't know why your benefits are changing so if you call them, you will just get the run around. They say to call Medi-Cal, who is very defensive about this sneaky legislative maneuver.
