As long as the loan is to be repaid, and this is acknowledged (and funded) as part of the relocation, I don't understand why the Sacramento City Manager sent this message to his counterpart in Anaheim.

The debt belongs to the Kings, and the NBA is the party that should assure payment of the loan.

City Beat: Sacramento attorney says Anaheim bonds for arena are illegal

I hope we can tie up the city of anaheim and the maloofs in court for decades and tie up the team's finances indefinitely. I hope the city of anaheim goes broke, the maloof goes broke, the kings franchise goes broke and david stern is forced to contract the team due to financial insolvency.

The maloofs are scum. Complete scum and I hope to see them panhanlding on the street for bread crums after they lose the kings and their hotel.

I'm with you on this. I'm for total revenge on the Magoofs for screwing over Sactown. They are a bunch of spoiled brats who never worked a hard honest day in their lives and their stupidity has led them to blow off the millions they inherited.

I hope they end up being broke and have to file for bankruptcy, and end up having to work a 9 to 5 job. I also hope Disneyland goes down in flames for this.

They have been LOSING money, NOT making money for years. They are a bunch of goombas and moronic sleazeballs.

Why would the City of Sacramento file a lawsuit against the Maloofs if they will pay off what is owed in full, including the penalty?

If you're talking about DisneyLAND you must have missed a few trips. They booted the bears years ago.

Much to my utter disgust.
