Can anyone tell me how good AT&T, Verizon, or other carriers do with coverage in the area? Am moving there in a month but buying new cell service now. Before I commit I'd love to know who does well by residents and if there any providers I should avoid i their service is spotty or is known drop a lot....

Any and all feedback would be appreciated, thank you so much!

In EDH it's spotty based on which provider you have and where you are. I use Sprint, it works well most of the time, but there are spots that don't work. I have a friend with AT&T and it's the same but different spots that don't work.

You aren't going to have a problem in Folsom.

I have ATT. Coverage is good along US-50 and El Dorado Hills Blvd. There is a weak spot along one section of the road where there aren't many houses. But generally, where there is a lot of houses you aren't going to have a problem.

I agree with NinaN... I live in EDH in Serrano and have Sprint. It works the best for us because we had Verizon and never got coverage!

Sprint 4g seems exceptionally strong in most of Folsom, but very spotty in EDH. If you don't care about 4g, then it's acceptable in most of EDH. A home down in a valley without nearby towers will cause you problems regardless of the carrier, 3g or 4g.
