East of Woodland...

Has any of you ever lived there or traveled through the area and some of it's towns like Rumsey and Guinda.

I've always been curious about the place but never visited.

You should take a ride through the Capay Valley during the annual Almond Festival which is slated for March 11, 2012.

And stop at Cache Creek casino for lunch. Otherwise, the area is all rural and worth a drive.

It is a beautiful area. Capay Organic farm is located there. In the spring through fall, they have some great farm tours there, which I highly recommend. Here is a link to their website: Farm Fresh To You

Guinda is a small wonderful town. Everyone knows eachother. It's just outside of casino stay on the road there's an old firehouse on the right which is where it begins. I knew someone who lived there. The sky is beautiful at night, you can see tons of stars!
