My wife and I are getting ready to move into the Regatta Apartments on West El Camino/River and some of the reviews on this site about South Natomas are a little frightening! We've driven through the area and it's by an elementary school and a middle school, and the area didn't seem too bad. We saw a few meth heads dumpster diving but that seems to be endemic throughout the area. Is the area really as dangerous as some of the posts on this site say it is?
