I'm trying to accumulate a list from local residents of different cities of their top 5 favorite high rises. I'd love for you to list them. Please include at least the address or name and a photo if available (unless someone has already posted by the time you put your vote in)

Thanks!

How tall does a high rise have to be?

Elks Tower and the Citizen are the two most attractive tall-ish buildings in town, IMO.

The office building at 7th and Capitol gets a nod for its very uncharacteristic-of-Sacramento rooftop lighting. I wish they did theme lighting like the Empire State Building--purple for Kings games, red white and blue for 4th of July, rainbow for Pride week, green for state budget madness, etc. I think the big court building is kind of nice architecturally, a good move away from the hideous and depressingly located main jail.
