I don't think many of us live in Roseville..even though I know someone grew up there. It looks to me that the park in question is in old Roseville, near Atlantic St. It's funny, the listings say it's on Sierra Blvd, but all of the map pictures show Atlantic St. Hmm...I see Sierra Blvd does run by the park, but it's still in old Roseville near Atlantic. If so, definately an older area, with I think a lot of environmental pollution from the railroads....but someone else will pipe in.......I wouldn't want to live there. But you may be ok with it. Have you been there, and driven around at various times of day & night?

Roseville schools in general are wonderful. Old Roseville, where Woodbridge Park is, will get you a few wino people, old fashioned railroad hobos. Being near the freight railroad will give you some noise, but then again some people like railroad noise.

Sorry to not reply sooner.

As others have said, Woodbridge Park isn't anywhere near Sierra Blvd. It's in the older part of Roseville. The houses off of Sierra Blvd are considered East Roseville, which is a very nice area, but a bit more expensive (houses start in the high $300's or low $400's).

For what it's worth, all of the schools in Roseville consistently rank pretty well.

That area is one of several neighborhoods that encompass "Old Town Roseville". Largely a collection of homes made in the early 20th century. Demographically speaking, that particular neighborhood is mostly working class-lower middle class, white, republican.

Crime is generally low. That part of old town is fine. The sketchy part of old town is "south of the tracks". Traditionally that is where Mexicans were forced to live back in the old days, and to this day it still serves as the towns barrio of sorts. Those are the lettered and numbered streets that are on the complete other side of old town.

Schools in that neighborhood should be uniform across the board. Elementary through High School typically perform in the Top 30%. Not the creme of the crop, but okay enough as far as public schools go.

As people have mentioned, that area is near the railroad so there will be train noise and air pollution from the locomotives. But also take into account that Sierra goes adjacent to back of Roseville High School. So you have to deal with congestion at caused by people picking up their kids.

Here's a crime map that may be useful to you:

For schools you can check out the following link once you determine the attendance boundaries for the neighborhood you're considering:

Hope this helps
