I'm a scholar and a dirtbag, and I'm as unimpressed with your behavior as anyone else here, abercrombiedude. If you're a gentleman, start acting like it!

There was a Brazilian restaurant but it went out of business...currently the only Brazilian you can get in this area involves the bikini area.

Another place I would to recommend is the New Hong Kong Wok (509 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento,CA 95822). It's more of the Cantonese kind.

I live in East Sacramento and I am a foodie too. If some of you are interested, maybe we can explore the nice foods in the area together :-)
Hong Kong Islander on Freeport is the best dim sum place I've found in Sacramento. It's a strong OK, certainly much better than the other places on Stockton. Fairly pricey, but still cheaper than a drive to the Bay Area.

I tried Tea Cup Cafe on a recommendation on this thread. Their dim sum is ... edible. (My scale runs from great, good, ok, edible, to inedible.) The filling of the har gow doesn't hold together, and the wrapper is too thick. The siu mai's texture is wrong; the meat is grinded too fine, and I can't detect any shrimp. The tofu skin roll is too salty and the filling tough. The sticky rice chicken is flavorless.
