I am a new homeowner and am still learning all the ropes. I am curious if there is any public record for the Mello-Roos for the area surrounded by Zinfandle, International, Sunrise Blvd and White Rock Rd. I can not find anything on the City of Rancho Cordova website and the Sac County Tax assessors website does not define the boundaries for the Mello-Roos bonds.

Any help is much appreciated.

If you look up your tax bill on the Sac County ePropTax website, it will break down your "direct levy detail", which you can find additional details on. Once you find the name of the direct levy, you can use this horrid document to get a description, but good luck finding it among the 87 pages with no OCR. http://www.finance.saccounty.net/Tax...rectLevies.pdf

It looks like parcels in that area have the pleasure of paying the "VILLAGE OF ZINFANDEL CFD" but I could have clicked on the wrong spot. This was random spot, at the corner of Flagler and Stourport: Tax Collection and Licensing, County of Sacramento, California, USA

It's a straightforward process...

Click on the following:

Tax Collection and Licensing, County of Sacramento, California, USA

Enter the parcel number...if you dont know it... click on the below link and click on "accept" at the bottom of the page:

Assessor's Parcel Viewer Application

The next page will be titled "Assessor Parcel View"

click on the "link to eprop tax"

The tax bill summary will then display...click on the "Direct Levy Portion" to view details of the Mello Roos and gather a tissue or two to dab away the tears
