....and the property would have to have meet high-density requirements that, also, requires that 50% of low-income folks are allowed to live on the property for half the cost, and any changes to the property would require a public vote, and/or approval from the a nazi design review committee of other hypocritical obstructionists. Of course, their proposals would fly through the design review process, and somehow become exempt from a public vote because it would be determined that the committee knows what's best for the rest of the city.

Maybe neighbors in the Railyards--he'll have the high-rise next to the river, I want a big loft in the upper floor of the Planing Shop building with a view of the Boiler Shop building and the Amtrak passenger depot!

Perhaps Sacramento leaders should take note (not that I'm endorsing rioting or violence in ANY form LOL) but people in Brasil are unhappy about billions being spent on sports stadiums instead of schools and infrastructure...

Haters gonna hate.

This isn't the Olympics or World Cup, where they will let the stadiums and arenas rot after the events are over. The arena in Sac will be open for 200 plus days a year and carry all types of events, not just basketball. Get it. Got it. Good !

Man, if you think they're rioting over stadiums than you're even more far gone than I thought. Unbelievable.

They live in a much higher degree of widespread poverty than we do. That I understand.

My point is with so many other needs we should not be subsidizing public stadiums for the benefit of PRIVATE investors with public money. Period. That's crony capitalism/corporate socialism - whatever you want to call it, its bad.
