Agree- I don't mind the rain actually but the high wind gusts are dangerous!
My bike rain gear works well and I actually don't even get my clothes wet. By the time I am home, I hang the rain gear up which is waterproof and in minutes it dries off.

November 2018: Sacramento compared with Salt Lake City.

High Temps
All of Sacramento high temps ranged from the 80's to 50's, no lower, with most days in the 60's. Most of Salt Lake City's highs were in the 40's. Several of Salt Lake City highs were as cold as the 30's.

Low Temps
Half of Salt Lake City's lows were in the 20's. More than half of Sacramento's lows were in the 40's and 50's.

It is at least not as cold now in the mornings. A few weeks ago it was 30F and freezing on the bike into work. The rains at least warmed things up a bit.

The storms caused major wind damage to many - $5k worth of fencing at my place. The contractor said he has many people calling for repairs.

You should apply as a weatherman for Channel 5 Chim. It's like your calling bro.

Storms make tree branches fall. Now you know what it's like in all the other cities throughout the country all year long. Besides, the city picks it up every week.
