Sacramento sounds like a nice place, the weather especially. Just a note about that 81 degrees in Phoenix; while in many places that is considered hot, here it is nearly perfect weather. I think the arid climate makes it feel that way. The absence of humidity definitely helps.

What you're now experiencing is San Jose weather, and you've gone nuts over!!!!! Abnormally cool weather for Sac. and very normal weather for SJ. Normally, it's hot in Sac. That's there real weather.

Sorry you are wrong, Bay Areans don't know Sacramento very well, especially its weather. They don't know that Sacramento benefits from the cool-cold pacific throughout the summer.

No, it's not normally hot in Sacramento. If fact, the last time its been "hot" in Sacramento was 9 months ago, but of course Bay Areans thinks its hot here all time because their tolerance for anything they don't like or don't know about is very limited. Anything over 70F in SF is considered "heat wave" weather.

Bay Areans seems to forget that 10 months out of the year Sacramento weather is near identical to many parts of the Bay Area. If Sacramento has a heat wave this summer, like the rest of the nation does in the summer, the Bay Area media will completely blow it out of proportion and report as if Sacramento is only place in the nation that actually has real summer weather.

The Bay Area is the "coldest" major metro in the Nation in the Summer. They are down right intolerant of real warm summer weather. Their summer high temps and and especially their low temps are down right chilly even colder than Seattle and Portland in the Summer.

I will agree San Jose has some of the best weather in the nation, but many people think its summer nights and mornings are too darn cold for summer weather.

Just refreshing upper 50s and lower 60s!!!!!!! That's only the low. Winter is around 60 for high and lows in the 40s.

What's with the nonsense of Sacramento having great weather? It's horrible: very hot in the summer and very foggy and frosty in the winter!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch: 106 in probably 2 weeks from now.

This doesn't make much sense. "often 105".... right.... Having grown up here I feel like you get probably 2 maybe 3 weeks spaced out where you get 100 or higher out of the 52 weeks of the year. Doesn't feel often especially since it hasn't been hot here since last september which was 8 months ago which has been mild. Chimerique am I in the ball park here?
