Sure but none on the same latitude as Sac. You compare to Phoenix the most by far of any other city followed by Vegas.

Sac, Phx and Vegas are 3 of the most sunniest major metros in the nation, so naturally comparisons are made.
I compare Sac to SF often and they are pretty darn close to the same latitude.

I've never understood the obsession with the sunshine statistics.

Sunshine doesn't matter if the weather sucks. It can be sunny and freezing, or sunny and too hot to do anything. It can even be sunny and so windy you can't BBQ.

It matters for people who have seasonal affected disorder; they suffer where it is cloudy a lot.

The complainers on this thread say Sac is too Sunny, but others Love our Sun.

I personally like more Sun than less Sun, but by the end of the summer I'm wishing for more clouds and overcast.

The last 2 1/2 months the Sun has been near perfect, mostly cool to warm.

It isn't the cloudiness. It is a combination of the intensity and duration of sunlight. The number of daylight hours at this latitude is short enough to cause SAD in some people. At the same time, the length of the summer days at higher latitudes makes SAD uncommon during the summer up there regardless of cloudy weather.

Additionally, many of those people just plain spend too much time indoors, or just don't go out and get exercise because it is a little cold outside.

Google heat index for various many charts.
The figure for 90% humidity is during the morning, when it averages around 75 degrees. The relative humidity steadily drops as you progress towards the afternoon.

And ONLY ONE month out of the year in Singapore features a high of 89F. Dubai, on the other hand, receives Phoenix-like summer temps AND humidity that could easily rival Houston (despite being in the middle of the desert), with massive sandstorms. Dubai is much, much worse heat wise than Singapore.

There are other sunny metros you almost never compare it to. We all know why you compare it to those two cities, to try minimize the oppressive summer heat Sac receives. You rarely compare SF with Sac during the day, just at night or in the mornings. I was more referring to cities out of state too when it comes to latitude.

Sac: 98

I love it!

Sitting in the Shade by the Backyard Sacramento Spa, just picked veggies from my Sacramento Garden ready to grill. Ice Cold Brew, or should I have a fresh White Chardonnay! Swim trucks on, shirt off, bbq is ready for the Meat. Should I swim before or after the Meat.

Oh, a Sacramento Summer so lovely!

Metro areas in the US. Internationally there are some better places but not the Asian sweatboxes you mentioned. There are some European Mediterranean climates that are a little better. But in the US it’s easily 4th behind San Diego, LA and San Jose.
