I want to say that both of these areas are BAD!..Shootings are happening on a daily basis..I have personally witness getting robbed in Starbucks on Fair Oaks blvd..People running out of stores steeling stuff...In two weeks alone a man Shoot another guy walking innocently in Carmichael Park, a week later some guy ran a lady over two blocks from there, robbing a store in Rite-Aid....This place is turning into Stockton...Gun violets is out of control here. Homeless people walking all over the place!!..and please don't say this happens everywhere because it does not..I am a male 50 years old and have lived in way better places then this...which is why I am moving away from here..if you are planning to move in this area..Move to Folsom or Roseville if you have to but i think those places are over rated....OBTW...I guy just got shot and killed on the corner of Auburn and Garfield by some drive-by person while he was walking this past Sunday, which is why I am fed-up and writing this blog.........Dont move here!

Cliff Notes:

1. OP is fed up with violent crime and homeless people in Carmichael and City of Sacramento.
2. OP believes the Cities of Roseville and Folsom are overrated.
3. OP believes Sacramento is turning into Stockton, Ca.
4. Is moving out of the area due to the high level of violent crime.

That about sums it up.

If the places the OP lived before were "way better" then why move to Carmichael? Hmmmm.......

I don't see that much crime here. And yes, I look at the SacSheriff crime reports page on a regular basis. Wonder what the Stockton one would look like.

Ok, here is the Stockton CrimeMap:

And for Carmichael:
