Test came back negative! The news had a field day with it and got to drum up a bunch of unnecessary fear, so I guess there's that....

West Nile Virus is, realistically, more of a worry. Or a sharknado.

So this person came back from Africa a while back and was hospital quarantined. But another person just got back from spending a month in Monrovia where his sister died, and was told by his doctor that "if he starts to show ebola symptoms to go to the hospital."

So why are some people being quarantined and some not?

Largely depends on what, if any, symptoms appear and when. News stories do not have extensive medical histories of indiviuals mentioned. Not everyone who's been to West Africa is quarantined or should be. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has lots of info.

That movie was so bad it was almost good. Got to watch the 1st and 2nd in the series all in 1 night. Oh the joys of having an 8-year-old boy :-)
